Community Education and Awareness

Infant Loss Resources serves as a source of information and support for the parents, grandparents, extended families and friends of newborn babies. Information on the latest recommendations to improve infant health and reduce the risk of SUID is provided to new parents and caregivers through telephone support, written information and educational materials, and presentations.

Infant Loss Resources also sponsors community activities and events to increase awareness and educate the general public about safe sleep for babies, SUID risk reduction and creating a smoke free environment for babies.
